Night at the Met

Any girls or boys dream that has anything to do with fashion dreams about one day going to the Costume Gala at the M.E.T . A night full of glitz and glamour , celebrity's with high fashion designers . Designers that have been around for years and years like Karl Lagerfield, Donna Karen, Dian Von Ferstenberg, Oscar De la Renta, and the future new designers like Jason Wu , Alexander Wang ,Rodarte, lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollogugh.. must I go on. All though it seemed like some missed the note or stylists, the ones that were on key and my favorites were ; Kate Bosworth, Anne Hathaway, Kristin Stewart, Rachel Roy, Chloe Sevigny, Sarah Jessica Parker, MIA , Camille Belle ,Cassie , Blake Liveley , Kate Perry ,Elizibeth Banks, Alissandra Ambrosio, Tina Fey.. but my favorites I think were Gwen Stephanie, Camille Belle, Marion Cotillard , Anna Wintour, and Jennifer Lopez. Either way I would love to be there one day a night with celebs , designers , and tons and tons of glamour I wouldn't want the night to ever end , one day one day a real Cinderella night.

BOX 8 FASHION WEEK

Thank God for BOX 8 , after smashbox studios stopped having LA fashion week designers have sort of spread out during these hard times and started doing they re own thing. So it seems that LA fashion week is progressing moving towards downtown Los Angeles which its great because its closer to my house and I see the most creative people not trying hard just being themselves. Box 8 does something more different than what I have seen in LA and I believe will kind of change things around here . PHOTO -SHOOTS spreads being created right in front of everyone fabulous in LA observing , interacting , and admiring talent. The shoot is later shown in a magazine such as 944. I think its such a movement in fashion here in LA where fashion was kind of lost and all about celebrity's BOX 8 is bringing out the best by not only admiring the designers but was goes on in the background with hair , make-up, and photography. Clothes alone are beautiful but with a complete look its music .A night where the talented ,artistic, beautiful, creative, people get together ,love it! The Runaways

I cannot wait to watch this movie ! Who doesn't love The Runaways. They were the hottest all girl band ever and not only hot but extremely talented . With success sometimes follows destruction and confusion but they are still rockin out now and have managed to service through rock and roll. Kristin Stewart and Dakota Fanning are amazing and I can not wait to see what these amazing talented young Lady's bring to this movie. From the looks of it its going to be a movie to watch of a great beginning to 5 hopeful women who just loved to rock .

Oscar favorites

This year the Oscars brought out the best of the best to the red carpet. There's nothing more that I love than amazing wrist takers . Most of the time the ones wearing the big huge ruffles are on the worst on the list of much media but those who know me know those are my most favorite , of coarse there's a line that has to be drawn at ridiculous overload but these women choose their dresses beautifully, well with much help from their stylists' of coarse. It must feel amazing to just be in a room with so much glitz , glamour ,and talent,

FUTURE OF FASHION AT BURBERRY..

I haven't written in a while but this is a good way of starting over. Yesterday 2/23/ 10 I was honored enough to have been invited by my amazing friend Jo Castillo to first time ever done 3-D fashion show just hours ( with London delay) of showing at London fashion week. This was the first time anything like this was ever done with screening in Dubai , New York , and here in Los Angeles. A night filled with nothing but chic-ness ( if that s a word ) but it was just amazing. Head designer Christopher Bailey has such a great humble spirit and you can feel his passion , kindness and such great energy through the screen and through Burberry's new collection. I am in love with his love for beauty. I would absolutely love to meet him and his team one day. Well it was defiantly the start of something amazing in fashion everything else is going high tech. We even got the most fabulous 3-D glasses given to us in a little box by hot waiters and champing <3>

I am happy to announce that I just got a job as sample coordinator in at an amazing company called Mighty Fine Inc(mightyfineinc.com) and seriously it was all God because I just posted my resume on monster.com ,which in fact was the first time Ive ever done that not knowing how it would turn out but someone by the name of Roland Montoya called me interested in my resume and helped me get the job and I am so happy to be a part of this company. Those who haven't heard of Mighty Fine , it is a t-shirt company that carries 8 different womens lines and they are awesome! Two of my favorite for women are called Trashy Luxury (trashyluxury.com) and public library(publiclibrary.com) . Trashy Luxury is very 80's Vogue , super oversizes, a- symmetrical cuts and so fabulous and comfortable. Public Library is very all American kind of white trash like jersey shirts with trucks print , very washed out eagle shirts , biker over seized t's love love love it all! The other lines are Disney Couture, Doe, French Kitty, Imaginary people, Mighty Fine,and Topless California. We also carry 6 mens lines; Bloc 28 , MF,Mustache 3rd grade,National Anthem and Topless California. Not only to women and men to we cater but to tweens and toddlers. Our lines are sold everywhere from Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom, macys, JcPenny, Fred Segel , Kitson , and the list goes on! Check it out for yourself, but I love evreryone that I work with and Im so excited to so more with Mighty Fine! Not only have I been doing this but I made my sis a hat with pearls and chains for my sis for christmas and everyone loved it so much that my friend Audrey kitching and I decided to partner up and sell them together in 7 different colors along with rocker gloves, bow ties, and bow cuffs . So excited we had an all day shoot on Sunday a day before my first day of work and it was exhausting but so worth it. our amazing friend Kriss is shooting for us and I love him hes like my little brother so nobody fuck with him ! He is so talented and has so much headed his way. And Audrey is just amazing she was teaching me how to posse better because I am horrible at poising but Im so glade to work with my dream team! On top of all this I'm am styling for an amazing band called "Press Play" and" Im OK Your Ok "who are part of the Dream Center in Los Angeles and I love them so much so however I can help its an honer. So I got a lot on my plate plus I still am working on my first collection which i am not putting down and now that I have a great job I know Ill be able to buy fabric ! So all I know is that all that is going on in my life right now is all God and I am just working my best and asking him for strength, He is good and loves me even through my horrible cursing and crazy road rage .
