ME AND PRINCE

This weekend I was definitely doing the prince thing . First I wanted to be a pretty boy with a shaggy hawk then started curling and added a huge pink bow and glammed myself out with an H&M high waisted skirt and a fight against aid exclusive collection crazy sequence jacket and underneath I decided to wear a cut pink bra . So I guess I was a cross between Prince, Julia Roberts in Pretty women ( when she was a hooker) , and Breakfast at Tiffany's when she had on a really cute pink dress and I can forget about my super high Betsey Johnson heels

In Memory of model Ana Carolina Reston

Beautiful Brazilian Model who passed away at age 21. She traveled the world and walked many amazing fashion shows as well as being featured in many adds ,but when told to loose weight she did so but so much that her kidneys failed her. She was a beautiful girl and I dont want her to be forgotten.

From Model to Singer Karen Elson is good at what she does

"The Ghost Who Walks"

Karen Elson has been featured on many magazines , walked in the most amazing shows, and now has her new cd "The Ghost who Walks" which made its debut May 2010 and all ready has great reviews. I love her music she seems like a really special singer and her husband Jack White of The White's who produced her album as well. Her music sounds like The Pixies meets country meet the 20's and its a little bit dark. Her music takes you to another time and is quite ispiring

Look of the day ... going Gothic Lollita

hair: F21 top hat (I added rinestones and feathers), tulle , necklace
skirt : one of my designs
wedges : shopgoldenpony.com $40!

chanel

Betsey Johnson
Anna Sui
Gothic Lolita

Last night I couldn't sleep thinking of what I should wear today and I actually was actually going to do the Kelly Bundy look but not being able to sleep I woke up a bit late ran into a wardrobe malfunction and boom plane B was born with I guess ended up up being a toned down Gothic Lolita which I by the way absolutely love anyways. Gothic Lolitas are so daring and so noticeable it seems like you can keep on adding and adding and you wont ever be bored. I get really excited when I see anyone taking chances on their everyday look it really says something about who you are. I think there are so many variations of a "LOLITA " Here are some Lolita inspirational looks by Betsey Johnson, Anna Sui , Chanel, and Tarina Tarintino . You can not say lolita without of coarse Hello Kitty , top hats, and sock with heals or wedges. So my look today started by bringing my hair to a high front pony tail which I ended up adding tons of tulle, a black bow, a necklace , and a top hat ... I'm wearing a Mighty Fine punker Hello Kitty white- T , a puffy black skirt, and of coarse white frilly socks with wedges...

Look of the day ... In the honor of Coco Chanel

Happy Birthday Coco

"Fashion fades , style remains" -Coco Chanel I cant help it but to get emotional overtime I watch a Chanel fashion show or get chills when I walk by the the Chanel windows as the mannequins are always so chic looking I'm always wishing it was me in those amazing al fits. Gabriel changed fashion forever and changed the world with he inspiration that she was so very passionate about. She made a name for herself in a time when women were seen as something more than objects. She was a women of individuality , class , and most of all style which she viewed the world through her own eyes . Starting off making hats to designing her first collection after Coco is truly an inspiration to the true dreamers, believers , and lovers of style . Coco worked until the day she passed away on January 1979 at age 87 in Paris , France. Coco changed the 20th century and continues to empire designers ,artists , fashionista's , the world . Coco will forever live on . Happy Birthday Coco Chanel<3

Look of the Day , 90's Marc Jacobs

I really just sort of whipped my al-fit up today actually running late trying to figure out what to wear but secretly I was feeling like Marc Jacobs today I guess , looking back as his 90's style when he rocked the oversize glasses and Mickey Mouse T's as well as his 2009 fall collection models on the runway rocked out the top hat , and his men's collection with sort of grays and blues like grandpa trousers! So self cautiously I felt like 90's Marc Jacobs;) and I dragged my poor little Minky along in my al-fit. Her name is Mink because she looks like a Mink coat.. what a diva

The 70's feathered look , shot by Adam Rindy

My new feathered hand made hair extentions sold soon on Etsy.com/annaestella

Look of the Day

I made some glasses yesterday inspired by basically having an allergic reaction at one of my photo shoots at Griffith Park on Saturday morning . Sunday morning I woke up with swollen eyes ( not so photogenic) so to my disquise I had the fabulous idea to create these lace glasses that I would be able to see out but no one would be able to see in . Now from this idea I have so many more for glasses now and i think Ill be sticking to this look for a while <3 My look today was inspired by my new glasses , I usually build my inspirational look by just one thing like glasses . So I was feeling my free vintage dress I managed to score at a clothe giveaway and this dress was left over and i just love it ! I paired it was pearls and gold and black chains , a leather studded jacket and grey stockings which just so happened to have runs on them , I always rip my stockings but can not manage to toss them! I'm like a clothes hoarder ! Now for hair I tightly brushed it to a side front ponytail when I got out of the shower and simply wrapped it into bun and bobby pinned ...this is one of my favorite looks because it only took me about 10 minutes total ! I love quick and easy but still fashionable <3 Rocker Grandma Chic<333
s are running past you doesn't mean you will ever catch up , please don't give up you are you don't give up.."
"striving for a better day and surviving with a fashionable after taste , you are who you are and you will end up where you belong , just because the car

Nylon Magazine Denim Issue night Party at the London

Yesterday was by far a most memorable night at the amazing Nylon Magazine party at the London Hotel hosted by the beautiful Drew Barrymore ! Red carpet , glitz glamour , fabulous people with great style which I absolutely love, such as fashion designer Noni Tocheterman of Petro Zilla who I have ran into at a few Nylon parties and I absolutely love her she is the most down to Earth fabulous women. And while my aloft consisted of channeling Boy George , Selena (bangs) , and mime , someone did compliment me with saying that I looked as if Madonna and Cher had a baby ... a very honorable compliment I must say ! I was so stocked to wear my new bow tie and my gloves from my new accessories line and soon anyone will be able to get the look! Well back to this fabulous night I caught myself before I wrecked myself having one to many drinks and by that I mean having just two drinks of Vodka I defiantly felt it but I'm such a control freak I had to talk myself out of losing it as we ( fab friend Joe Castellano , Rad Tuesday , and bubbly Sinsu) headed over to Trousdale on sunset ...from Nylon to house music , and I got my dance one which I have no idea nor want to know how it looked but I had fun a great nigh which ended with a very talented homeless man outside coming up with some sweet free styling on his portable little mike was the cherry to a Sunday .stay tuned for whats coming I'm so excited for more ! xoxo
